Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients. Your role will involve assisting in the implementation of treatment plans and providing support to patients throughout their therapy journey. Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines in the provision of physical therapy services Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA )
Experience:
Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant or in a related role is preferred Knowledge of occupational health practices and medical terminology Strong patient care skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics Familiarity with acute care settings and experience working with patients recovering from surgery or injury Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques is a plus Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Requirements:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities If you are passionate about helping others regain their mobility and improve their quality of life, we encourage you to apply for this position.
