Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical operations, and assist with medical documentation across diverse specialties including internal medicine. Your expertise in medical assisting, administrative support, and clinical procedures will help ensure smooth clinic workflows and positive patient experiences. Duties Prepare Draw station, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient visits. Assist healthcare providers including phlebotomy . Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters. Support patient intake processes by collecting medical histories, updating records. Perform basic laboratory tasks such as specimen collection and processing for diagnostic testing. Coordinate with patients and manage referrals efficiently. Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards, ICD coding for diagnoses, and proper medical records management. Maintain a high level of patient service by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and clear communication throughout every interaction. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program is required. Proven experience in medical office settings with familiarity in related fields. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management is essential. Understanding of medical terminology, and ICD coding standards. Experience with phlebotomy, and medical documentation is highly preferred.. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to handle diverse clinical situations confidently.
