Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

• Full-Time Care Station Medical Group | Springfield, NJ We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Springfield medical office clinic floor, supporting our Women's Health and Sports Medicine specialties.

This is a hands-on clinical position working directly with patients, providers, and the clinical team in a busy outpatient medical office setting. Schedule Full-Time | 5 shifts per week

• 3:00 PM The Medical Assistant will work primarily on the medical office clinic floor and will be responsible for supporting providers and maintaining efficient patient flow throughout the day.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and room patients for provider visits
• Prepare exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
• Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs and medical histories
• Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures
• Support Women's Health and Sports Medicine patient care
• Assist with patient flow from check-in through completion of the clinical visit
• Perform and assist with clinical procedures, including: EKGs, Spirometry, Audiometry Phlebotomy and blood draws Drug screening and BAT Wound care Laboratory testing, Urinalysis and other point-of-care testing
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Communicate patient needs and clinical information to providers Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has experience working as a Medical Assistant in a busy outpatient medical office, physician practice, specialty practice or clinic setting.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Women's Health / Sports Medicine Primary Care / Urgent Care Phlebotomy and laboratory procedures EKG and other diagnostic testing Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program High School Diploma or GED Current certification as a CMA, CCMA, RMA, or equivalent Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting required Strong patient service and communication skills Strong computer and EMR skills Bilingual Spanish is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 15 lbs.
