Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant Hector Rubinstein MDPA Union City, NJ Job Details Part-time $17 - $19 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Spanish Customer service AdvancedMD Assisting medical staff High school diploma or GED Data entry Computer skills Medical terminology Medical receptionist Full Job Description Medical Receptionist is responsible for performing patient registration, verifying insurance eligibility, obtaining prior authorization and referrals. Fluency is Spanish is required and experienced with AdvancedMD is preferred. Prior work experience as a medical receptionist is required. Coding and Billing Specialist is responsible for accurately coding and billing cardiology office and hospital charges. Verify medical information with doctor, technicians and staff. Perform data entry of charges. Experience with posting EOBs and patient payments as well as working denied claims. Provide assistance to front staff regarding verifying insurance eligibility, obtaining referrals and authorizations. Fluency is Spanish is required and experienced with AdvancedMD is preferred.
