Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Milan, New Mexico. The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will support physicians and nursing staff by performing both clinical and administrative duties to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examinations and medical procedures. Record patient medical histories, vital signs, height, weight, and other health information. Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures. Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as permitted by state regulations. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
Requirements:
Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification through AAMA or equivalent (required). BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred. Experience with correctional or public health settings. Experience with electronic health record systems. Interested?
