Job Description

We are currently hiring full-time and part-time Medical Assistants to join our team of healthcare professionals! We are a local healthcare company providing outpatient substance abuse treatment to the Santa Fe community. Front office position available, without need for MA certification. Staff members will enjoy a collaborative team environment. Our team is not only trained and licensed to provide quality healthcare, but we are also truly dedicated to the mission of our agency. This is an opportunity to gain new medical insight, engage with patients in successful treatment, and to positively and significantly impact the Santa Fe community.
Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:
  • Front office work : including answering phone calls, checking patients in, receiving payments, scheduling appointments.
  • Back office work : including blood draws, injections, vital signs, specimen collection, and history taking
  • Early morning hours (5:30 am
  • 1:30 pm) M-F
  • EHR / Computer skills
  • Strong charting skills and medical terminology
  • Onsite training and ongoing education on substance abuse services offered, such as Narcan training / education classes.
