Medical Assistant As a medical assistant, you will be an integral part of our team by providing clinical and administrative support to providers Responsibilities Communicate with patients, families, physician offices and providers as directed by physicians Answering phone and scheduling patients Prepare charts prior to patient visits Assist with prescription refills Room patients, obtain vitals and reconcile medications Prepare and maintain exam rooms Manage incoming documents and assist with completion of necessary forms Assist in completion of prior authorizations

• Qualifications Medical Assistant or related healthcare experience Completion of a certified medical assistant program with current certification preferred but not required. High School graduate or GED equivalent Experience with Medent EMR preferred but not required Strong communication skills Ability to collaborate with team members Excellent customer service skills
