Are you a dedicated Medical Assistant seeking a fulfilling career opportunity in a small yet thriving internal medicine practice? Look no further! We have an excellent employment opportunity available for you. We have two office locations ,Chittenango and Dewitt, NY. Employee Will be scheduled in both offices and be required to travel between them Office hours are 8-6 PM, Schedule will be between those hours
Responsibilities:
As a MA in our internal medicine practice, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with patient assessments, vital signs, and medical history documentation. Performing routine diagnostic tests, such as EKGs and phlebotomy. Assisting with minor procedures and treatments under the supervision of physicians. Providing patient education and answering questions regarding treatment plans and medication instructions.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements: Prior experience in internal medicine or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in medical terminology, documentation, and basic clinical procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. A commitment to providing patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism.
