Full-time Position Overview A large, established specialty healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support its Fresh Meadows and Dyker Heights offices. This position is ideal for a dependable, patient-focused professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. The Medical Assistant will support patient intake, prepare examination rooms, document medical information, assist providers during examinations and procedures, and perform basic in-office testing. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Chinese is required. Responsibilities Welcome patients and respond to or appropriately route telephone inquiries Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for appointments Verify and document medical histories, patient information, and reasons for visits Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic in-office testing Clean and maintain sterile instruments Properly dispose of contaminated supplies Provide medication and treatment instructions as directed by the provider Accurately document examinations, treatments, and test results Monitor medical supply inventory and ensure equipment is functioning properly Deliver professional and compassionate patient service Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese is required Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred Epic EMR experience is a plus Strong patient service, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced clinical setting Willingness and ability to work at both assigned locations Candidates must meet at least one of the following education or experience requirements: Completion of a Medical Assistant program CMA or RMA certification Bachelor's degree in Biology Current or previous EMT certification At least five years of continuous Medical Assistant experience

8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. -

Fresh Meadows Wednesday:

8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. -

Fresh Meadows Thursday:

8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. -

Dyker Heights Friday:

8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. -

Dyker Heights Saturday:
