Medical Assistant - $23/hr | Full-Time $23/hour | Full-time | Temp-to-perm | Riverhead / Southampton area Elite Finders is hiring a Medical Assistant for an established specialty medical practice in the Riverhead / Southampton area. If you have a Medical Assistant background—or relevant clinical training—and enjoy working directly with patients, we'd like to hear from you. ENT experience is not required. What you'll do: Room and prepare patients for appointments Record medical history and reason for visit Assist providers during exams and procedures Prepare lab specimens and perform basic in-office testing Maintain sterile instruments and clinical supplies Document examinations, treatments and test results Provide patient instructions as directed Help create a positive, professional experience for patients Follow HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements You may qualify if you have any ONE of the following: Completed a Medical Assistant program CMA or RMA certification Bachelor's degree in Biology EMT certification 5 years of continuous Medical Assistant experience Previous Medical Assistant experience and Epic EMR experience are preferred, but not required .
