Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of clinical procedures, medical documentation, and patient care within diverse medical settings. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient services in a dynamic environment, supporting physicians and healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional care. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in medical assisting, administrative support, and clinical workflows, ensuring efficient practice operations and positive patient experiences. Responsibilities Perform clinical tasks such as preparing patients for examinations, assisting with X-ray procedures, Assist MD with surgeries, Sterilizing tools using autoclave and keeping examination rooms clean & safe. Manage electronic health records (EMR systems) accurately, including documentation of patient histories, medical notes, and treatment plans. Support patient intake processes by verifying insurance information, updating medical histories, and addressing patient inquiries professionally. Maintain organized medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and facilitating seamless information flow among healthcare providers. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinical environments such as specialty practices including podiatry or internal medicine. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to phlebotomy or medical assisting are preferred. Strong knowledge of EMR systems and electronic health records management practices. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse patient populations. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medical documentation standards.   • Monday 9-5, Tue 9-3, Wed 10-7, Thur 9-3, Fri 9-2
  • Saturday (once a month from 9a-12noon)
  • Sunday (once a month from 9a-1:30p)
  • YOU MUST ANSWER ALL SCREENER QUESTIONS THAT FOLLOW IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED
  • YOU MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY A CASE OF COPY PAPER THAT WEIGHS UP TO 40 POUNDS
Pay:
