In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care while supporting clinical operations in our private office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced environment committed to delivering top-tier healthcare services. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to monitor patient health status. Manage medical records efficiently within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. Use portals such as Healthelink, Quest, etc. to chart prep for lab and X-ray results Answer telephones, triage patient and provider messages. Skills Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ICD coding, and medication administration is helpful. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management for accurate documentation. Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and attentive intake procedures. Knowledge of medical office management practices including scheduling support and medical administrative support functions. Knowledge of taking vitals such as blood pressure, weight and temperature Experience working in physician office or hospital settings such as Geriatrics clinics or internal medicine departments is highly valued. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
