Medical Assistant - Express Care (Part-Time) Southwoods Health is hiring a part-time Medical Assistant for our Express Care locations in Boardman, Campbell, and Columbiana. In this role, you will partner with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, comprehensive patient care while performing a variety of skilled clinical and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Create a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment for all patients and visitors. Room patients efficiently using two approved patient identifiers. Measure and record vital signs, chief complaints, medications, and allergies in patient charts. Collect, process, and prepare laboratory specimens safely for transport. Promptly report critical lab results, adverse reactions, and key clinical updates to the provider. Handle administrative tasks including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records. Advocate for patient rights and responsibilities in all daily duties. Maintain full compliance with all relevant regulatory agency standards.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with a diploma; OR maintain an active registration/certification (RMA via

AMT, CMA

via AAMA, or CCMA via NHA). Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Excellent customer service, multitasking, and organizational skills.
