SGMG provides care across more than 15 specialties, giving you the opportunity to work with different providers, teams, and patients while helping practices deliver compassionate, high-quality care. No weekends or holidays Weekday, day-shift hours Variety of practice settings and specialties Opportunity to use and continue building a broad range of clinical skills What You'll Do Prepare patients for visits and obtain and document vital signs and patient information Assist physicians with office procedures, examinations, and diagnostic testing Perform clinical skills including venipuncture, injections, and sterilization Handle specimens, forms, orders, and other patient-care tasks Answer phones, relay messages and support scheduling, registration and front-desk activities Follow patient safety, infection prevention, and quality procedures Adapt quickly to different practice environments, priorities, and team needs What You Bring Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required Previous physician-office Medical Assistant experience preferred Strong, well-rounded Medical Assistant clinical skills Confidence adapting to different providers, practice environments, and workflows Strong communication, organization, and patient-service skills Reliable transportation and ability to travel between SGMG offices Bring your experience, flexibility, and passion for patient care to a role where no two days — or practices — are exactly the same, but you're always part of the team.
