Job description: Medical Assistant / Clinical Support - Interventional Pain Management A high-volume, fast-paced pain management practice is seeking an experienced, reliable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. ECW experience strongly preferred. Multiple providers, high patient flow, and lots of moving pieces mean we need someone with a strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and a positive attitude. You must be comfortable with phones, patient interaction, and willing to scribe for physicians when needed. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under provider supervision Prepare charts and paperwork ahead of patient visits Monitor and document vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, etc.) Accurately document in EMR systems (ECW preferred; Epic experience acceptable) Assist with Workers' Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) paperwork Offer calm, clear communication and emotional support to patients and families Support providers by scribing during busy clinics when assigned Requirements Certified or formally trained Medical Assistant Strong understanding of basic anatomy and medical terminology Experience in a specialty or high-volume clinic preferred Excellent communication skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude High attention to detail with the ability to follow clinical protocols Reliable attendance and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
