JOB SUMMARY
Wallowa Memorial Medical Clinic is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) to join our clinic team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a provider and clinical supervisor, supporting both clinical and administrative functions to ensure a seamless patient experience. The Medical Assistant serves as a vital link between patients and providers, helping to coordinate care, document patient information and assist with routine procedures. Effective communication and a collaborative approach are essential in working with physicians and fellow team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with patient exams, procedures and treatments as directed by the physician Taking and documenting vital signs, patient histories and clinical information Preparing exam rooms and ensuring appropriate supplies and equipment are available Communicating clearly and professionally with patients, providers and clinical staff Assisting with care coordination, follow-up instructions and patient education Supporting administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry and medical record documentation Maintaining a clean, organized and safe clinical environment If you're passionate about helping others and want to be part of a supportive, patient-focused team, we'd love to hear from you! QUALIFICATIONS
Current BLS/CPR certification required or ability to attain upon hire Excellent computer skills Strong customer service and professional phone skills Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork within and across departments Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse populations Ability to meet the physical and functional requirements outlined in the job description High School Diploma or equivalent required Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks
