Busy Dermatology practice looking for a Medical Assistant who is a team player with a positive outlook. Prefer someone with certification and/or solid prior experience as a medical assistant. Previous experience with EMR is preferred. Experience with the EMR system, EMA (Modernizing Medicine), will be started at a higher wage. The position requires good organizational skills, attention to detail, good computer skills and good attendance and punctuality. Responsibilities include rooming patients, recording patient info in to the EMR, scribing for the Medical Provider, assisting with medical procedures, ensuring exam rooms are clean and supplied, some scheduling of appointments and other duties as assigned.
