Job Overview Certification NOT Required! Join our small Podiatry clinic as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency! In this vital role, you will support our healthcare provider by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth daily operations. Your energy and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Whether assisting with patient intake, managing medical records, or preparing exam rooms, your contributions will be essential to delivering exceptional healthcare experiences. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Verify insurance authorizations and precertification Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist the provider during medical procedures including X-ray positioning. Collect patient specimens for laboratory testing and ensure proper labeling and documentation in medical records Scheduling outpatient procedures with the hospital Proven experience in a medical office setting with knowledge of basic medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management tools Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is required and will be completed on the job Familiarity with medical care, or outpatient care environments is highly desirable Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence and compassionate care delivery Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital sign collection, medication reconciliation, and basic X-ray positioning Answering phones and scheduling appointments

Monday-Thursday 7:45-5:30
Closed Friday-Sunday Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 - 40.0 per week
