Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care
- Perform basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering injections
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Collect and record patient information, including medical history and symptoms
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Provide medical administrative support, such as answering phones and filing documents
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant in a hospital or healthcare setting, willing to train a new grad!
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic life support
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Strong patient service skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Experience with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Familiarity with performing vital signs measurements and assisting with X-rays
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Be willing to strive to meet quality metrics since we are Tier 5 PCPCH through the
