Job Description

Role:
The Labor and Delivery RN provides comprehensive obstetric care, including assessing maternal and fetal health, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Responsibilities:
Communicate procedures to patients, administer medications, prepare equipment, assist in surgeries, provide postpartum education, respond to emergencies, document care, interpret fetal monitoring, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Requires at least one year of recent L&D experience, valid RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications; preferred certifications include fetal monitoring, STABLE, and ACLS. Must possess critical thinking, strong communication, physical stamina, technical skills, and emotional resilience to handle high-pressure situations.
