QR Code Link to This Post Dermatology practice seeking long term reliable Part time Certified Medical Assistant with positive and professional demeanor to join our team. Willing to learn, work independently and with a team to provide great patient care. The right person will be assisting with direct patient care, triage phone calls, RX benefits/preauth verification, scheduling, & administrative tasks working with Physician Assistant. Strong communication & computer skills, and organized a must; along with cross train to work front office and cover for other staff. Work days are T-TH approx. 24 hours a week, may add more hours if needed for training and patient care. Please submit cover letter with resume.
Requirements:
  • 1 year Dermatology medical assistant experience, Certification preferred.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adaptable to changes and willing to help wherever needed.
  • Strong Computer skills
  • insurance portals & EHR (Epic or Nextech experience preferred)
  • Responsible for cleaning, stocking, preparing rooms, rooming patients, scheduling, data entry
  • Sterile procedure experience
  • Excellent attendance, work ethic, and organized
  • Effective and professional communication skills
