Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and documenting symptoms accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit Perform clinical tasks including help with Dr. Sumas' Med Spa Support physicians with medical documentation, ICD coding, and maintaining accurate medical records for compliance and billing purposes Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-up communications, and coordination of care within outpatient or inpatient settings Conduct routine clinical assessments including physiology knowledge to monitor patient status effectively Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with strong background in medical office management and patient service Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), EMR (Electronic Medical Records), ICD coding, and medical documentation standards We will train you on Neurosurgery This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a difference in patient lives while advancing their career in healthcare.
