Join our elite, growing private practice and work with a compassionate group of providers and office team. Busy specialty practice (sleep medicine & pulmonary), is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to support the providers at our growing practice in our Paoli office. Must be self-motivated, friendly, organized, able to multi-task and greet patients with a smile. Experience with telephone triage, patient education and insurance prior authorization for medications is required. Experience in dealing with durable medical equipment, DME companies, ordering of CPAP related equipment, knowledge of EMR, use of prescription drug monitoring portal and covermymeds.com, is helpful but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answering phones in a pleasant, helpful, and professional manner
• Triaging of telephone calls with guidance by physicians and advanced practice providers
• Facilitating communication between physicians/APP's and patients
• Medication/procedure prior authorizations and facilitate communication with insurance carriers
• Data entry
• Rooming pulmonary patients and taking/recording of vitals
