• 21 per hour | Full-Time Express Urgent Care is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for an MA who enjoys variety, staying active, and working in a fast-paced urgent care setting. What You'll Do This is a full-scope Medical Assistant position with responsibilities including: Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs Taking and documenting patient histories and medications Phlebotomy and specimen collection Rapid testing including strep, flu, COVID, urinalysis, pregnancy testing, and glucose Administering injections and vaccines as directed by providers Wound care and dressing changes Preparing and maintaining exam and procedure rooms Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment Maintaining and restocking medical supplies Assisting physicians and physician assistants with patient care Helping maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic Following infection-control and safety procedures What We're Looking For Medical Assistant experience preferred Urgent care, primary care, or outpatient experience is a plus

CMA/CCMA

certification preferred but not required Phlebotomy experience preferred Comfortable learning and performing a broad range of clinical skills Friendly and professional with patients Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Reliable and punctual Willing to work as part of a team and help wherever needed Why Join Express Urgent Care?
