Join Our Team We are a well-established, privately owned primary care practice looking for a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on position with a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities . The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a busy medical office while maintaining a friendly and welcoming attitude. What You'll Do Clinical Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for their provider visit. Obtain and document medical histories and vital signs, including temperature, height, weight, pulse, and pulse oximetry. Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and in-office treatments. Perform clinical duties such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, vaccinations, and specimen collection. Prepare, label, process, and properly document laboratory specimens. Assist with medication administration and other clinical tasks as directed by the provider. Prepare and maintain clean, organized examination rooms. Sterilize and maintain medical instruments and equipment. Provide patients with appropriate instructions regarding medications, treatment plans, testing, and follow-up care. Patient Care & Communication Create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient. Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and families. Provide patients with instructions and information as directed by the provider. Communicate test results, follow-up instructions, and other patient information as appropriate. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Build positive relationships with patients and contribute to a patient-centered environment. Administrative Responsibilities Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information. Update and maintain accurate patient records in the EHR. Prepare patient charts and information for scheduled visits. Process referrals and assist with obtaining necessary documentation. Assist with other front-office and administrative duties as needed. Work collaboratively with the entire office team to keep the daily workflow running smoothly. Inventory & Office Support Monitor clinical and office supply inventory. Keep exam rooms and clinical areas stocked and organized. Assist with ordering and maintaining medical supplies and pharmaceuticals. Identify supply or equipment needs before they become a problem. Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work environment. Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred. CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred. CPR certification preferred. Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures. Experience with an electronic health record (EHR) system preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. New graduates and candidates with strong clinical skills who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply.

Ability to assist patients as needed. Ability to lift and carry medical supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds.
