Medical Assistant -
Remote Patient Monitoring Location:
Muskegon, MI (in-person)
Compensation:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience

Part-Time (potential to grow into Full-Time) About Us Lifecare of West Michigan is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care that helps patients stay healthy and safe at home. Our team works closely together to support patients through skilled nursing visits, remote monitoring, and coordinated care management. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our remote patient monitoring This is a part-time, in-person position based at our Muskegon location, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the position evolves. Responsibilities
  • Monitor remote patient monitoring (RPM) data and alerts, flagging concerns to the RN promptly
  • Provide live scribing support for the RN during home health visits, accurately documenting assessments, observations, and care provided
  • Assist with maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Communicate with patients and caregivers regarding monitoring devices, alerts, and follow-up needs
  • Support care coordination by relaying pertinent patient information to the RN and broader care team
  • Help identify trends or changes in patient status that may require clinical follow-up
  • Perform other administrative and clinical support tasks as needed Qualifications
  • Current Medical Assistant certification and experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills and comfort working with EHR systems and remote monitoring platforms
  • Excellent listening and documentation skills; ability to accurately scribe in real time
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to report in-person to our Muskegon, MI location
  • Home health or healthcare experience preferred but not required What We Offer

Pay:
