Job Description

About us This post is for both an in office medical assistant and a remote receptionist. Position is for a medical practice. This would require a minimum of 4-5 hours on Monday and Tuesday in office work. Remote phone hours would be available Thursdays and Fridays from 12 to 4:30 PM. Training is paid and equipment is provided. Experience with a medical office and Electronic Health Record is preferred but not required. Increments of 4-8 hours a day would be expected.
Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or individual
  • Provide excellent customer support and address inquiries or concerns
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff members
  • Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and computerized systems
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
