Position Responsibilities:

The CMA will assist their assigned provider with patient care during time of service, as well as follow up with patient communication and results after time of service. Review, sign and maintain all clinical protocols as relayed by the Office Manager. Ensure accurate documentation with a clear audit trail. Complete patient chart prep for your assigned provider prior to visit as per protocol. At time of service, triage patients for assigned provider including obtained patient medical history medications and vitals per protocol. Ensure MIPS compliance throughout the clinical workflow for your assigned provider as per protocol Complete clinical tasks assigned to your assigned provider as per protocol. Complete medication pre-authorizations for your provider as per protocol. Monitor ordered, pending, scheduled and returned tests & procedures for your assigned provider as per protocol. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the management team or physician partners.
