Join a Different Kind of Medical Practice Our growing Direct Primary Care (DPC) clinic is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant who wants to work in a practice that prioritizes quality patient care over volume. This is a rare opportunity for the right candidate. Please do not apply unless you have at least 10 years of Medical Assistant experience. This requirement is firm. What You'll Do Room patients and obtain vital signs Perform phlebotomy with confidence and skill Perform 12-lead EKGs Handle prior authorizations Coordinate referrals and outside records Answer phones professionally and provide outstanding customer service Assist with patient communication and follow-up Support the physician and help maintain efficient daily clinic operations Contribute to a positive, patient-focused office culture Required Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of Medical Assistant experience (required) Strong phlebotomy skills Experience performing EKGs Experience with prior authorizations and referrals Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills Friendly, positive, patient-centered attitude Team player who works well with coworkers Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented What Makes This Position Different Unlike many traditional primary care practices, our Direct Primary Care model allows us to spend more time with patients while maintaining a manageable daily schedule.
