We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will support providers and patients by performing clinical and administrative duties while helping ensure a welcoming, efficient, and professional patient experience. Key Responsibilities Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, medications, and other relevant information. Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures. Perform clinical tasks within the scope of training and applicable regulations. Administer injections as permitted by state regulations and practice protocols. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Schedule appointments and assist with referrals, follow-up appointments, and patient communications. Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and provide excellent customer service. Maintain examination rooms, supplies, and clinical equipment. Follow infection-control, safety, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Assist with other clinical and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Current Medical Assistant certification/registration preferred or required according to applicable state and practice requirements. Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred. Current CPR/BLS certification preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information appropriately. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
