Full Time Medical Assistant needed for a Medical Specialty Practice with offices in Johnson City and Kingsport. Applicant must be willing and able to work between both locations. Our office operates 1 clinic monthly in Abingdon VA and 1 clinic monthly in Norton VA which MA's will alternate coverage at. Employee will be responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, recording patient data including: vital signs, height, weight, allergies, medication and reason for the visit, performing EKG's, scanning and maintaining medical records, calling in prescriptions, scheduling outside tests and referrals to other specialists.
