We are a Specialty Medical Practice in Kingsport looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our fast paced team. We prefer one year of prior experience as a medical assistant and be very eager and willing to learn our practice. We are looking for a mature detail orientated individual that is a team player. Job Responsibilities Escorts patients to exam rooms as appropriate Maintains patient flow in order to help the provider be as efficient as possible Accurately records patient data including but not limited to vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and all medicaitons each visit. Administers subcutaneous and intramuscular injections ordered by the provider Submits patient prescriptions electronically or by phone Monitors phone and electronic message boxes and makes patient calls as directed by provider Call Patients with lab results as directed by provider Schedules Procedures ordered by provider at hospital or outpatient facility Prior Authtorizations Schedules Appointments Scribe Order Biologics as directed by provider

Performs Allergy Skin Testing Performs Feno and Spriometry Tests Experience Medical Assistant:

1 year Certification (Preferred) CPR Certification Job Type- Full Time We have two satallite clinics that is open certain days in Johnson City and Abingdon that may require travel to work for the day.
