Job Description

JCL Express Walk-In Clinic, LLC is seeking an Medical Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. We promote a fun and friendly work environment. We encourage work/life balance. The Medical Administrative Assistant ensures the office runs as efficiently as possible. Serves as the liaison between the technical staff, front office staff, providers, and referring providers.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensures operational excellence and quality of care in the facility Demonstrates knowledge of all equipment to provide a safe environment for staff Assists with hiring for open positions Participates in performance improvement activities Ensures that the office runs are efficiently as possible Serves as liaison between technical staff, front office staff, and provider. Ensures all staff completes safety training Assists with scheduling patients and ensures staff is utilizing the EHR system as efficiently and accurately as possible Improves workflow and processes Ensures patient satisfaction Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information and PHI Assists with marketing initiatives and customer service Responsible for various aspects of medical billing: claim creation, claim submission, payment posting for insurance, and patient balances Other duties as needed
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Minimum 2 years' experience in claims processing, insurance billing or benefits administration Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel) Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently Superior verbal, written, customer service and analytical skills
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Billing/Insurance Credentialing Experience Preferred
  • 2 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
Job Type:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
