Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing nephrology practice in Baytown, Texas. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, organized, and able to provide excellent patient care in a busy specialty-practice environment. Previous nephrology or internal medicine experience is preferred, along with experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) .
Responsibilities:
Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories Document patient information accurately in the EMR Review and update medications and medical histories Scanning patient documents into EMR Coordinate patient follow-ups, referrals, and diagnostic testing Communicate professionally with patients, families, providers, and staff Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked exam rooms Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and office safety requirements Provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care to patients Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required to support the practice and patient care
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required

REQUIRED
Document patient information accurately in eClinicalWorks (eCW) Previous medical assistant experience preferred Nephrology, internal medicine, or specialty-practice experience is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Professional, dependable, and patient-focused Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
Pay:
$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
