Qoros Cardiovascular is seeking a full time Medical Assistant to join one of our thriving Cardiology private practices located in Baytown, TX. No evenings! No weekends!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform vital signs Room patients, obtain medical, family and social history etc. Perform EKG and other diagnostic testing (stress test, hook up monitors etc.) Draw blood Schedule and confirm diagnostic testing, procedures at the office and hospital Copy, fax and scan medical records Effectively communicate in a pleasant manner with patients, visitors, physicians team members, office team members and referring physicians Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 - year Medical Assistant experience in a high - volume healthcare setting Phlebotomy experience preferred eCW experience preferred Cardiology private practice healthcare setting preferred Knowledge of basic medical terminology Knowledge of verifying insurance and obtaining authorization for diagnostic testing, procedures or medications Exceptional customer service-oriented attitude High School Diploma or equivalent
