Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including recording vital signs and updating medical histories Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support procedures Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records Support hospital medicine, urgent care, or dermatology clinics by coordinating patient flow and facilitating communication between patients and providers Conduct ICD coding and medical documentation to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring a positive experience Qualifications Proven medical office experience with familiarity in medical assisting roles across various specialties such as dermatology, hospital medicine, or urgent care Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology to support clinical duties effectively Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required; additional certifications like phlebotomy or medication administration are a plus Experience working with EMR/EHR systems and managing electronic health records efficiently Strong understanding of ICD coding, medical documentation standards, and medical records management Inpatient experience or hospital environment exposure preferred; Level I or Level II trauma center experience is advantageous We need someone that is good with EMR(perferably Eclinicals) /scripts for Dr. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately in fast-paced settings Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through dedicated care and professional excellence.
