Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide patient care and perform clinical and administrative duties. This position requires candidates to have completed a Medical Assistant program or possess relevant work experience (1 year minimum preferred) . A certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred, but not mandatory.

Duties:

• Perform vital sign measurements and record patient information accurately
• Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
• Answer patients' questions and provide exceptional customer service
• Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies
• Conduct spirometry and allergy skin testing
• Refill medications, prior authorizations for medications
• Uphold infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment

Experience:

• Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Must be comfortable administering injections
• Ability to accurately document patient information in electronic health record, familiarity with eClinicalWorks helpful
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient service and teamwork
