May assist with scheduling appointments, data entry, and preparation of vaccines for vaccinations to the community.
Job Requirements:
Work Experience:
One year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
License/Registration/Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant required; must obtain within 6 months of being in the position. Current BLS certification required.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Medical Assistant course required.
Skills:
Highly effective communication skills. Proficiency and ability to type. Knows vaccine requirements for patients. Knowledge of the patient flow process, applicable per Clinic. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to document EMR.
