Medical Assistant (OB/GYN) - Immediate Hire Nurture Women's Health is seeking an experienced, outgoing, dependable, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing OB/GYN practice in Frisco. We are looking for a motivated professional who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. Bilingual candidates (Spanish and English) are strongly preferred. Schedule Full-time (40 hours per week). Work schedules vary based on provider schedules and clinic needs. While start and end times may fluctuate throughout the week, employees will be scheduled for 40 hours per week . Essential Responsibilities & Skills Efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Room patients promptly and effectively to support daily provider schedules and clinic flow. Review patients' presenting concerns, medical histories, visit notes, and provider orders, ensuring accurate documentation within the EMR. Assist providers during examinations and procedures, including obtaining pre- and post-procedure vital signs and other clinical duties as required. Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and medication refill protocols. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards. Schedule appointments, process clinical communications, and navigate electronic medical records, preferably Athena . Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff through strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Foster a positive, team-oriented environment while providing outstanding patient service. Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population. Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years of Medical Assistant experience , preferably in an OB/GYN setting. Strong customer service and patient relations skills. Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and experience handling confidential patient information. Experience with electronic medical record systems; Athena experience preferred .
