Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our busy podiatry practice. This is a hands-on position involving both patient care and general clinical duties. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining and documenting medical histories and vital signs, preparing patients for examination and treatment, assisting the physician with in-office procedures, cleaning and preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, stocking clinical supplies, and assisting with other day-to-day clinical needs. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office, and able to communicate professionally with patients and coworkers. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works well as part of a small team, and is willing to learn. Previous medical office or Medical Assistant experience is preferred. Experience in podiatry, orthopedics, wound care, or a surgical practice is a plus but is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. This is a full-time, in-person position with weekday hours. No weekends.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Medical Assistant experience preferred Basic computer and electronic medical record skills Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment We are looking for a long-term addition to our team who is professional, reliable, and enjoys working with patients.Pay:
