In this dynamic position, you will support families during difficult times by assisting with funeral arrangements, ensuring smooth event coordination, and maintaining the dignity of every service. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a comforting environment for loved ones while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and care. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of funeral services, including arranging floral displays, signage, and seating arrangements Support families by providing empathetic client communication and guidance throughout the funeral process Handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when transporting caskets, equipment, or floral arrangements Drive company vehicles for transportation of remains or equipment as needed, adhering to safe driving practices Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, record management, and ensuring all necessary materials are available on site Maintain accurate records of service details, client interactions, and administrative documentation in accordance with company policies Provide bereavement support to families and friends, offering compassionate assistance during their time of loss Experience Previous experience in funeral & mortuary services or related customer service roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Strong communication skills to work effectively with families, colleagues, and external vendors Experience in event planning or coordination is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices at all times Willingness to be on-call for coverage during evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Administrative experience with records management or event documentation is a plus Join us in delivering heartfelt support and professional service that honors lives with dignity.
