Full Job Description Duties:

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and support
• Perform basic medical procedures and administer medications as directed
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing

Requirements:

• Bilingual in Spanish / English required
• Certification as a Medical Assistant
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Proficiency in basic life support techniques
• Experience in providing patient care and service
• Ability to administer medications accurately and safely
• Familiarity with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing records
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Skills:

• Basic life support certification preferred but not required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy necessary for understanding patient conditions and treatment plans
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism
• Proficiency in medication administration techniques to ensure patient safety
• Strong understanding of medical administrative tasks to support efficient operations in a healthcare setting
