Job Description
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide outpatient care and support medical staff in a outpatient setting. This position requires knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and experience in medical administrative tasks.
Duties:
- Perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures.
- Provide medical administrative support including maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Work with diverse patient populations including geriatrics and internal medicine.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Experience in outpatient or hospital settings preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures is a plus.
