Front Desk / Medical Assistant We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and patient-focused Front Desk / Medical Assistant to join our clinic team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming patient experience while supporting the provider and keeping daily clinic operations running smoothly. What You'll Do Greet and assist patients in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner Answer incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments Verify insurance eligibility and collect patient payments Assist the provider with patient care and clinical needs Obtain prior authorizations and manage referrals Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Monitor and maintain office and clinical supplies Support the day-to-day operations of the clinic Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and staff Maintain patient confidentiality and follow clinic policies and procedures Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Current CPR/BLS certification Bilingual in English and Spanish Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Previous front desk or medical office experience preferred Familiarity with insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorizations is a plus Ability to work effectively as part of a team
