Ability to use E-Clinical Works is a plus. Hours are
M-F, 8-5PM.
Must pass background check. Must present diploma or certificate. Duties Assist with patient intake, including obtaining vital signs and medical histories. Provide support in various medical specialties, including dermatology and geriatrics. Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers. Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures in the operating room (OR). Offer exceptional patient service, addressing concerns and providing information as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Perform emergency medicine procedures when necessary, demonstrating quick thinking and efficiency. Support medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling insurance verifications. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Experience in inpatient settings preferred but not required. Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic clinical procedures. Knowledge of medication administration protocols. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and support. Familiarity with emergency medicine practices is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining professionalism at all times. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in both clinical and administrative tasks.
