Job Description
Part-Time Medical Assistant / Front Desk Coordinator White Horse Holistic Health is seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Medical Assistant to support both front- and back-office operations at our integrative medical practice in Spring Branch, Texas. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys patient interaction, provides excellent customer service, works well with a team, and is comfortable moving between administrative and clinical responsibilities. Responsibilities Greet patients and provide a warm, professional experience Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries Assist with scheduling, check-in, and checkout Process patient orders, payments, and related documentation Draw blood and properly label, process, package, and ship laboratory specimens Prepare exam and treatment rooms Assist providers and clinical staff with patient care Maintain accurate patient records and complete assigned tasks promptly Keep the clinic organized, stocked, and running efficiently Communicate clearly with patients, providers, laboratories, and team members Help with other front- and back-office duties as needed Qualifications Phlebotomy experience and confidence drawing blood are required Previous medical office or clinical experience is strongly preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Positive and professional attitude Dependable, punctual, and willing to take initiative Organized and able to manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail, especially when handling patient orders and laboratory specimens Comfortable learning new systems, services, and clinical protocols Able to work collaboratively and step in wherever help is needed Respectful of patient privacy and committed to maintaining confidentiality Experience in functional, integrative, or wellness-based medicine is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, motivated, and eager to learn.
