QOROS Cardiovascular is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time opportunity located in Texas City, TX 77591.
QUICK GLANCE
The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible onboarding patients, monitoring clinical data from RPM devices, ensuring timely follow-up with patients and providers, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies. The MA serves as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure optimal care and improved health outcomes.
POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinate the enrollment and onboarding of patients into the RPM program Educate patients on the use of RPM devices Monitor incoming patient data and escalate abnormal findings to appropriate clinical staff Track and document patient compliance and engagement with monitoring protocols Collaborate with care teams to support patient care plans and follow-up needs Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR Ensure compliance with
HIPAA, CMS
guidelines, and other relevant regulations Act as the primary point of contact for patients enrolled in the RPM program Troubleshoot device-related issues and coordinate with technical support as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1 - year Medical Assistant experience required Medical Assistant experience working in a Cardiology healthcare setting preferred Prior experience in telehealth, remote monitoring, or care coordination strongly preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with technology, especially health-related platforms and devices Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy laws EMR Experience required, eClinicalWorks preferred Bilingual Spanish preferred, not a requirement
