MEDICAL ASSISTANT!

Ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, a team player, and preferably a non-smoker (due to patient sensitivities). One to two years' experience in a clinical setting preferred. Bilingual a must. Salary is negotiable based on experience and certification level.

JOB DUTIES

Checking in patients, downloading glucose meters, and checking glucose readings. Perform medical assisting duties under supervision of Physician or Nurse Practitioner. Triage daily phone calls for urgency & be able to effectively communicate plan of care. Maintain records in EMR. Ensure compliance with all relevant state medical laws.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and independently. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment. Proactive approach to problem solving and resolution.
