September 2026 Join an Innovative Mental Health Team Mountain View Family Therapy is an established and growing outpatient mental health group practice serving the Riverton and Draper communities. As we expand into our new Draper location, we are excited to launch our Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato services and are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals receiving innovative, evidence-based treatment for depression and other mental health conditions. While previous TMS/Spravato experience is preferred, it is not required . We provide comprehensive on-the-job training and support for the right candidate. This role will begin at approximately 10-20 hours per week and is expected to grow quickly into a full-time position (up to 35 hours per week) as our services expand. Schedule Monday-Friday Daytime business hours No evenings, weekends, or holidays anticipated Position Summary The Medical Assistant is responsible for taking and recording vitals as well as helping at our reception desk. This MA will be trained to administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato treatments under the direction of licensed providers while ensuring each patient has a safe, comfortable, and positive treatment experience. The ideal candidate is warm, patient, dependable, and enjoys building supportive relationships with patients over the course of their treatment. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping others improve their mental health. Primary Responsibilities Record vitals for patients Administer TMS treatments according to physician and clinical protocols Administer Spravato services according to physician and clinical protocols Monitor patients throughout each treatment session for comfort and safety Build trusting, supportive relationships with patients during their course of treatment Accurately document treatment sessions in the electronic health record Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment rooms and TMS equipment Follow all clinical safety procedures and infection control standards Communicate patient concerns or changes in condition to supervising providers Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Perform other clinical support duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor Ability to learn new technology and medical equipment Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Preferred Qualifications Background or education in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Behavioral Health, Neuroscience, Biology, or another related field Previous TMS or Spravato experience Medical Assistant certification CPR/BLS certification Three to five years of healthcare experience Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health conditions Benefits (Full-Time) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays Opportunities for growth within a rapidly expanding mental health practice Why Join Mountain View Family Therapy?
