Job Description
Cache Valley Dermatology is looking for an experienced Full time Medical Assistant. The position would be 4 days a week. Hours are 8:15 am- 5:00 pm. The perfect candidate would be someone who is a certified MA and committed to working in the fast paced field of Dermatology. Must be a quick learner, have excellent typing skills, willing to learn new things, love multi tasking and love working with people. Experience in charting in an EMR is a plus. Duties include -
- Rooming Patients, verifying patient info, HPI and confirming medical history.
- Sterilizing and cleaning of medical instraments, stocking rooms and ordering supplies.
- Assisting in surgical procedures, provide preoperative and postoperative discharge care.
- Assisting in cosmetic procedures.
- Keeping rooms clean, setting up and cleaning up after procedures.
- Transcribing for providers during visit. Must have proficient typing skills with a good medical terminology.
- Authorize drug refills and respond to pharmacy questions.
- Schedule in office surgeries and follow up appointments.
- Must communicate well when providing phone patients with results.
- Performing Laser hair removal and other cosemtics procedures.
